Crude Oil Oil prices edged higher on Friday as political turmoil in Venezuela threatened to tighten crude supply, but concerns over surging U.S. fuel stocks and global economic woes weighed on sentiment. Crude Oil Oil Prices managed to hold their own on Thursday in the face of distinctly bearish data coming out of the EIA. Brent crude oil futures fell 5 cents to settle at $61.09 a barrel.
